What’s in it & why?
- Rice Water: Rice water contains nutrients like niacin, folic acid, and amino acids that promote hair growth, improves hair elasticity by reducing surface friction, strengthens hair roots and follicles, reduces breakage and improve hair texture, protects hair from the elements by creating a protective barrier, makes dull or fine hair stronger and shinier while curly hair benefits from all the elasticity.
- Rose Water Hydrosol: revitalizes hair and scalp with super hydrating and soothing properties, promoting shine, growth, and overall health.
- Aloe Vera Gel: contains vitamins A, C, and E, and amino acids and fatty acids, which can promote healthy hair follicles; helps keep hair hydrated by locking in moisture and drawing moisture from the air; naturally detangles; protects hair from UV damage; helps preserve or improve hair’s natural texture and strengthens; breaks down excess oil.
- Distilled Water: avoids build up from minerals and chemicals found in hard water.
- Witch Hazel: soothes irritated and inflamed scalps, has antioxidant properties, helps with oil control.
- Argan Oil: moisturizes, adds shine, protects hair from breakage and increases elasticity; helps prevent frizz and promotes healthy follicles which can aid in hair growth.
- Avocado Oil: contains vitamins A, D, E, and B-6, as well as fatty acids, potassium, magnesium, and other nutrients; helps prevent heat damage by locking in moisture; improves overall hair health as the natural fatty acids help repair the hair cuticle and prevent breakage.
- Jojoba Oil: moisturizes hair, promotes growth and thickness, helps repair damage from heat, controls dandruff, can help stop premature greying.
- Vitamin E Oil: helps maintain hair growth and encourages healthy hair, protects hair from free radicals, adds luster and shine and reduces breakage.
- BTMS 50: (Behentrimonium Methosulfate, Cetyl Alcohol, and Butylene Glycol…plant based emulsifier and conditioning agent), provides excellent conditioning properties, makes hair softer, easier to comb, and more manageable, detangles, reduces frizz, and static and improves body and shine…the list goes on. It’s great for your skin too!
- Vegetable Glycerin: attracts moisture from the air and helps your hair retain it, helps prevent breakage and makes hair appear to grow faster, makes hair shiny and less prone to split ends, controls dandruff, defines hair and reduces frizz.
